<aside> 🌱 Aim to book around 4-5 meetings in per day (including Huddle and Stand-Up) for the new joiner during their first week, and ideally a mix of more information sharing, check-ins, and informal coffees or meet the teams.

This is enough to give them plenty of context and face-time, but not too many that it overloads them.

If they aren't going to be 'on-team' immediately, still ensure they're shadowing the most relevant team's stand-ups. We've had lots of feedback that this helps the new joiner feel more connected to the team and company, especially if they're remote.

Book in your first 1:1 with them on day 3 or 4 of this week.
