We give you three budgets to use at Charlie from day one, because we want everyone to have equal access to the areas we believe are essential to doing our jobs well. This policy outlines what these budgets are and how you can use them. All of our budgets are 'use-it-or-lose-it' i.e. they don't roll over into the next time period if unused.

Learn Your Way

A central L&D budget to support with more expensive activities contributing solely to learning and development, such as training courses, coaching etc.

Everything you need to know on the Centralised L&D budget:

You can propose any learning opportunity you and your manager believe will benefit your development and contribute to Charlie's goals.

For requests over £500, Charlie will cover a percentage of the fees with the remaining percentage sourced from your Work Your Way budget or personal funds.

If your learning request exceeds £1000, we'll need you to agree to a learning agreement.

Allowance time period: 6th April - 5th April

Used for: you can use your WYW budget for anything that you can explain to your manager as equipment to facilitate doing your job / learning and developing within your current role. Your budget can be spent on:
